💳 How Billing Works (via Shopify)
Dropast subscription charges follow Shopify’s app billing rules:
If You Upgrade:
- The difference in price is prorated based on the number of days left in your billing cycle.
Example:
If you’re halfway through a billing cycle on a $5/month plan and switch to a $15/month plan, you’ll be charged:
$5 + (($15 - $5) × 15/30) = $10
If You Downgrade:
- You’ll receive a Shopify application credit for the difference, based on the remaining days in your billing cycle.
- This credit can be used toward any future app charges on Shopify.
✅ Key Notes
- Immediate Effect: Plan changes apply as soon as you approve them in Shopify.
- Prorated Billing: No overpaying — Shopify automatically calculates fair pricing adjustments.
- Credits for Downgrades: Downgrade credits are added to your Shopify account and applied to future app charges.
