How to Automatically Set Selling Prices Using Multipliers in Dropast
Dropast allows you to automate your selling price calculations using a simple multiplier rule. This saves time and ensures consistency across all imported products. By setting a predefined or custom multiplier, Dropast will automatically calculate the selling price based on the Marketplace product cost, domestic shipping, and Dropast service fee.
This guide explains how to enable and configure this setting in your Dropast account.
⚙️ Where to Set the Selling Price Rule
To access and configure this feature:
- Go to Dropast Settings
- Navigate to the “Product” tab
-
Locate the setting:
[Selling Price] [Marketplace Product Cost]
🧮 How It Works
When this setting is enabled and configured:
- Dropast will automatically calculate the selling price each time a product is imported from Taobao, Tmall, or 1688
- The selling price is calculated based on:
Marketplace Product Cost + Domestic Shipping + Dropast Fee
- This combined cost is then multiplied by your defined multiplier value
Example:
| Cost Component | Value |
|---|---|
| Product Cost (RMB) | ¥50 |
| Domestic Shipping | ¥10 |
| Dropast Fee (10%) | ¥5 |
| Total Base Cost | ¥65 |
| Multiplier Set | 2.5× |
| Auto Selling Price | ¥162,5 |
🔧 Setting Your Multiplier
You can:
- Choose a predefined multiplier (e.g., 2×, 3×, 4×)
- Enter a custom multiplier based on your pricing strategy
This ensures your selling prices reflect desired profit margins without manual adjustments.
