How Orders Are Handled After You Receive a Shopify Order

Once you receive a Shopify order that includes at least one product synced with Marketpla cevia Dropast, the order is automatically synced to your Dropast account. From there, Dropast handles the order lifecycle step by step — from purchasing the product to international shipping and fulfillment updates.


🧾 Order Syncing and Payment

When a synced product is ordered in your Shopify store:

  1. The order appears instantly in your Dropast Orders panel.

    If automatic payment is not activated, you'll need to:

    • Go to the Order Detail Page
    • Click “Pay” to initiate the product payment
    • Confirm the payment for the Marketplace product cost (this excludes international shipping fees)

🛒 Domestic Fulfillment and Inspection

After payment:

  • Dropast purchases the product from the Marketplace seller on your behalf
  • The seller ships the product to Dropast’s warehouse
  • You'll receive email updates at each stage, including domestic tracking from the seller to our warehouse

Once the product arrives at our warehouse:

  • Dropast unpacks and inspects the item to ensure it matches the original Taobao product listing
  • Any Chinese marketing material is removed
  • If the order contains multiple products, Dropast waits for all items to arrive before combining them into one package

    If the order contains only one item:

    • It is repacked into a white-label package
    • If you've uploaded a store logo or thank you card, we’ll insert it inside (if enabled in your settings)

You will be notified once the product is inspected and ready for international shipping.


✈️ Shipping to Your Customer

Once the package is ready:

  1. Go to the Order Detail Page
  2. Select a carrier from the available options
  3. Pay the shipping fee to initiate delivery

After payment:

  • The package is shipped via the selected carrier
  • Within 24 hours, you'll receive the international tracking number
  • Your Shopify order will be automatically marked as fulfilled, and the tracking number will be attached

📬 Notifications & Tracking

You’ll receive real-time updates for:

  • Domestic shipping progress (from seller to Dropast warehouse)
  • Package arrival and inspection
  • Shipping fee calculation and available options
  • International tracking (sent within 24 hours after dispatch)
