How to Edit Product Language After Importing from Marketplace
When you import products from Taobao, Tmall or 1688 using Dropast, all text is automatically translated from Chinese to English. While this default translation ensures quick access to readable content, you may want to customize the language to better match your store’s audience — for example, French, German, Spanish, or others.
🌐 How Translation Works in Dropast
- Automatic Translation: Product titles, descriptions, and details are auto-translated from Chinese to English.
- Default Setting: At this time, English is the only auto-translation language available inside Dropast.
✏️ How to Change Text to Another Language
If you'd like your product to appear in a different language:
- Edit Text in Dropast Before Export
- Navigate to your Dropast List
- Select the product you want to edit

Customize the title, description, and other text fields in your preferred language (e.g., French, German, etc.)
Export to Shopify
- Once you’ve edited the content, click “Add to Store” to export
- The customized text will appear exactly as you edited it in your Shopify store
