How to Load, Import, and Export Reviews for Taobao, Tmall, and 1688 Products
Product reviews add authenticity, increase buyer confidence, and boost conversions. With the Dropast Chrome Extension, you can easily capture reviews — including text and images — directly from Taobao, Tmall, or 1688, and export them for use in platforms like Judge.me or Loox.
This guide walks you through the step-by-step process of fetching, importing, and exporting reviews using Dropast.
⭐ Step-by-Step: Importing and Exporting Reviews
Step 1: Install the Dropast Chrome Extension
- Download the extension from the Chrome Web Store
- Make sure it's activated in your browser before visiting the marketplace
Step 2: Navigate to the Product Page
- Visit the product page on Taobao, Tmall, or 1688 from which you want to extract reviews
- Click the “Load Reviews” button in the Dropast extension panel
Step 3: Scroll and Load Reviews
- Scroll through and navigate the product page slowly or at a moderate pace
This helps the extension capture review data, including images, ratings, and text
As reviews are fetched:
- The user avatar will update to the Dropast logo
- If a review has already been captured, the logo will show a green dot to indicate success
🔍 Tip: Take your time scrolling — moving too quickly may cause the extension to miss content.
Step 4: Import the Reviews
- Once at least one review has been captured, click the “Import Review” button
- This will begin the process of loading the selected reviews into your Dropast account
- Please be patient — depending on the number of reviews, this may take a few moments
Step 5: Export the Reviews
- After reviews are successfully loaded, you’ll be redirected to the Dropast Review Page
- Click “Export” to download the reviews as a CSV file
- The file is formatted to be compatible with popular Shopify review apps like Judge.me and Loox
✅ Best Practices
- Always ensure you're using the latest version of the Dropast Chrome Extension.
